Lucas Oil Stabilizer is a 100% petroleum product formulated to eliminate dry starts and reduce friction, heat and wear. It allows motor oils a higher degree of lubricity which reduces oil consumption and operating temperatures.

Lucas Stop Leak is a mix of primarily base petroleum oils—typically 80–90% naphthenic petroleum/distillates—with added olefin polymers (seal swell agents), around up to 40% of the formula, that help rejuvenate engine seals . SDS lists hydrotreated light and medium petroleum distillates (15–40% and <21%), plus a proprietary alkyl phenol blend (<6%)
