Holts Tyreweld uses compressed gases like butane, propane, and isobutane to propel and inflate the tyre. It contains a water-based latex emulsion that acts as a temporary sealant, coating the inside of the tyre and sealing small punctures. A small amount of potassium hydroxide helps control the pH level, while ammonium lauryl ether sulfate acts as a surfactant to help the foam spread evenly. The product is non-toxic, easy to rinse out, and safe for most tyre pressure monitoring systems. It provides an emergency solution to get you back on the road quickly. The canister is pressurised and extremely flammable, so it should be stored safely away from heat or flames. Although it’s not a permanent repair, it allows enough time to drive to a professional garage for a full inspection or repair. Holts Tyreweld is designed for ease of use and can be applied without removing the wheel.
